To give managers and supervisors a brief insight into their responsibilities and the key skills required. |

| Objectives: |
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
- understand the general requirements of health and safety law which apply to the workplace
- understand the concept of 'duty of care'
- know what is required in investigating an accident
- conduct safety inspections in the workplace
- know the elements required to conduct a risk assessment.

The course is arranged into eight sessions and gives an overview on the knowledge required and an opportunity to practice some of the skills learnt.
