To give delegates an appreciation of the potential effects their actions have on the local and wider environment. |

On completion of the course delegates should be able to:
- identify the hazards that affects the environment as a result of the work activities
- outline the procedures and actions necessary to prevent damage to the environment

Topics Include:
- the environment and definitions of the terms environment and pollution
- identify the three main systems which convey pollution
- how work activities impact on the environment
- the role of the person responsible for environmental issues at the workplace

There is no end of course assessment but all delegates will receive a certificate of attendance. |
