Audience: |
Anyone who has responsibility for implementing a portable appliance testing regime. In particular those who have attended the one day PAT II course and need to refresh the practical side a PAT regime |

| Aims: |
To provide course delegates with an opportunity to discuss specific items of interest and consolidate their practical testing skills. |
|
| Objectives: |
On completion of the course delegates will
- Understand better formal visual
- become more comfortable with carrying out formal electrical tests
- have discussed specific items and situations that concern them
- be aware of any recent changes in law or best practice.

| Course Structure |
The course is informal in nature and practical in detail. It is expected that delegates will bring their own testing equipment and any items of particular interest that they wish to discuss. An initial review will take no more than one hour and from there the contents will be focused on the needs of those present. It is expected that this will cover (but not limited to)
- Record keeping
- formal visual inspections
- formal electrical tests
- retest periods.
