| Managing Safely Recertification |
Audience: |
Managers and supervisors who have completed the IOSH Managing Safely course within the last 3 years. |

Aims: |
To refresh, update and enhance IOSH Managing Safely certificate holders’ knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety legislation and information. |

| Objectives: |
On the successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to: |
- understand the role of risk assessment within the safety management team
- outline the main requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- outline the techniques required for accident investigation and the human behaviours involved
- identify workplace hazards and the hierarchies of controls
- prepare active monitoring checklists and use them in carrying out monitoring and reviews in the workplace
- explain the purpose of a health and safety audit.
